Patti Austin
Patti began Austin Enterprise in 1992 in Bakersfield, CA. Austin Enterprise began as a traffic control company, providing highway construction signs which were the first pieces of equipment on the job site. This early work allowed Patti to meet other types of contractors that were working on highway projects. Through this networking, Patti saw opportunities to grow Austin Enterprises and added sawing and drilling to their list of services.
Today, thanks to Patti’s hard work, Austin Enterprises is one of the largest specialized highway rehabilitation contractors in California, with 47 trucks and over 50 employees. Austin Enterprise is a woman-owned business.
